Help For Heroes - Still Raising Money
Essex Auto Group sponsored Doing It For Heroes have been busy Fund raising again, this time at Wembley Stadium where Take That have been performing the London part of their UK tour
Wembley Events kindly authorised 2 days of collecting on the first and second nights of the boy bands performances the first tour with Robbie Williams since the 5 reformed in late 2009.
On Day 1 a team of six from the NATO Northwood HQ joined our man Andy Gibbs (Gibbo) collecting a massive £2700 in three hours of bucket rattling and H4H wrist band selling.
The Second evening saw the big guns come out with CPO JC Cameron Wood donning his number 1s uniform and assisting Gibbo as the uniformed contingent at Wembley, raising another phenomenal amount on the second day of £2550.
Total raised £5250! Congratulations and big well done to (from left to right) PO (EW) Andy “Gibbo” Gibbs, Wtr Rebecca Cross, Wtr Mikey Paddock, CPO(Wtr) Becky White and LOGS Daniel Reid. CPO (EW) JC Cameron Wood was our money minder and photographer. The group are pictured in front of Wembley Stadium
A big thank you goes out to all of the concert goers for their fantastic support and kind generosity over the two nights.
