Southend Cricket Festival Competition Winners
Winners of the Essex Auto Group competition held at the Southend Cricket Festival this year enjoyed the day at the Chelmsford ground watching the Essex v Surrey game.
The day was made complete by meeting James Foster and Ryan ten Doeschate on the pitch at the County ground.
Carol Pratt and Sarah Bamforth-White won signed team kit by entering the prize draw.
Carol and her husband are long time supporters of Essex and follow them around the country. Just last week they were in Somerset watching the game. Carol has always wanted to meet Ryan ten Doeschate and as you can see from the pictures we made her day.
Sarah admitted to us that the Southend game was the first one that she had been to. Her family are strong supporters of Essex with her son Tom already playing cricket and showing his skills in bowling for the Dunmow Cricket Club and also represented West Essex Cricket just recently . Sarah, Tom and Emily all enjoyed the afternoon meeting the players.
