Any accident is traumatic, and Essex Auto Group is here to make having your vehicle repaired afterwards less stressful.  From your first contact with us to get an estimate or arrange vehicle recovery, you can be assured our staff will be helpful, considerate and efficient.
When our vehicle assessor has created an estimate you can decide which type of claim you wish to make. Whatever make or model of vehicle you own, or which insurance company you use, Essex Auto Group can have you back on the road in no time.

Peace of mind steps:

•    We will provide you with a replacement vehicle (subject to your insurance terms & conditions)
•    An experienced estimator will thoroughly examine your vehicle upon arrival to provide a fair and reasonable quote for the work to be carried out
•    An in-depth, fully itemised appraisal will be prepared using the latest visual imaging systems
•    On approval, our highly trained technicians, panel beaters & paint sprayers will carry out any necessary work on your vehicle
•    Using computerised jigs and welding equipment, we will ensure your vehicle is repaired and restored back to factory standard
•    Your vehicle is then given a final check with a courtesy wash and vacuum.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long will the repair take?


Due the nature of body repairs most repairs have a minimum duration of 5 days. Any quotation for repair duration is subject to change and dependent on the availability of replacement parts.

Do I need to pay anything?

If we are repairing your vehicle based on a private estimate, payment will be due on completion of the repairs. For repairs on behalf of an insurance company, we are required by them to collect any policy excess payment prior to releasing the vehicle to you. You will be advised of this before or during the repair.

NB: If you are VAT registered you will be liable for the VAT element of the repair.

Do I get a Courtesy Vehicle?

If your contract of insurance entitles you to a courtesy car, we will advise you of this and provide you with a vehicle is you require it. We will request to see your driving licence (original not copies and both parts are required if a photo type licence).

We are only obliged to provide small vehicles. For a larger vehicle, please liase with your insurer. If you are not entitled to a courtesy vehicle we can put you in touch with a local hire car company where you will benefit from preferential rates.

Is the work guaranteed?

Yes - we guarantee all of our workmanship for 12 months and are happy to discuss any concerns or queries you may have about your repair.
