Ford Launches Silver Sportvan
To celebrate its centenary Ford of Britain has released 180 Transit Sportvans in metallic silver with graphite bonnet stripes
The seventh model in the Sportvan series, which was started in 2007, is on sale now at Essex Ford priced at £23,670.
It is based on the 260 short wheelbase Transit with front wheel drive and is powered by the 140hp 2.2-litre TDCI diesel engine, which is mated to six-speed transmission.
The exterior features:
- Twin exhausts
- 18-inch graphite-coloured alloy wheels
- Low profile 235/45 tyres
- Front and rear lower spoilers
- Side skirts
- Extended arches.
Coming as standard inside the cab is velour trim, air conditioning, Sony radio/CD with DAB and steering column-mounted controls, Bluetooth, cruise control, power windows, powered and heated mirrors, leather steering wheel and leather gearshift knob.
Tinted glass and a perimeter alarm are also standard and options include leather Seats, sat nav and a rear view camera.
Safety kit includes ESP and driver and passenger airbags.
