Support Vehicle - Help for Heroes Event
Essex Auto Group are very proud to be sponsoring the Help for Heroes walk from Wembley to Cardiff. We are suppling a Ford Galaxy as a support vehicle for the event. Help for Heroes is an amazing charity supporting our brave soliders around the world who risk there lifes day in and day out.
The three Royal Navy sailors who are going to walk from Wembley to Cardiff carrying the Welsh Football Association match ball for the Wales v England football fixture on the 26th March today received “The Ball” from the Welsh national team manager Gary Speed.
Andy Gibbs (left of Gary) and Dave Chandler (right of Gary) attended the presentation at the Vale Hotel in Cardiff with Tyler Christopher and Katie Cherrett from H4H. Unfortunately Brown could not attend as he is training hard for the forthcoming world indoor rowing championships in Boston. To raise money during the walk we will be selling Help for Heroes wristbands in the towns and Cities we stop over in as we make our way South West.
They will be presenting the match ball that will have been carried the 168 miles to the match officials prior to kick off in front of a sell-out Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.
The route will be broken down into daily parts, and will be covering around 34 miles each day.
