Kia Optima
The all-new Kia Optima was first introduced at the New York Motor Show in 2010 and will be arriving in the UK on 1st February 2012. The stylish saloon car replaces the Kia Magentis and provides a longer, wider and lower stance. This not only makes it look sportier on the outside, but provides more internal space as well. The aggressive front face features Kia’s trademark ‘Tiger nose’ grille.
The interior is of a supreme build quality and there is an optional glass panoramic sunroof to provide an open air feeling. Storage is plentiful in the new Kia Optima, with a 505-litre boot that can be enlarged by folding the 60:40 split rear seats.
The new Kia Optima comes with an array of standard features, including alloy wheels, air conditioning, LED daytime running lights, leather steering wheel, Bluetooth with voice recognition and music streaming, electric folding mirrors, electric windows, steering wheel mounted audio controls, cruise control and a speed limiter.
A refined 1.7 CRDi engine is available in the new Kia Optima, with 136bhp. It is available in both six speed manual and automatic transmissions and has advanced fuel saving technologies. Manual models feature Kia’s intelligent Stop and Go system which results in CO2 emissions of just 128g/km.
The new Kia Optima comes with Kia’s famous seven year or 100,000 mile warranty.
