Welcome to Essex Auto Group Accident Repair Centre. We know accidents are stressful, which is why when you call us to get an appointed estimate or arrange a recovery, we will be considerate, efficient and helpful.
Our vehicle assessor will create an estimate of the damage and cost of repair so that you can decide whether to make an insurance claim, a third party claim or a private claim.
Whatever vehicle you own and whichever insurance company you’re with, we can have you back on the road quickly and with minimum fuss. For your peace of mind, we will provide you with a replacement vehicle, assess the damage on your car and prepare an itemised quote, restore your vehicle back to factory standard and give it a courtesy wash and vacuum.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long will the repair take?
We expect body repairs to take a minimum of 5 days to do. All quotations for repair duration are subject to change and will always be dependent on the availability of replacement parts.
Do I need to pay anything?
Payment is due on completion of repairs for private estimates. For repairs on behalf of an insurer, we are required to collect policy excess prior to releasing the vehicle. We will advise you of any payments necessary before and during the repair.
NB: If you are VAT registered you will be liable for the VAT element of the repair.
Do I get a Courtesy Vehicle?
Some insurance companies require us to supply a courtesy vehicle and we will advise you of this. We will need to see your driving licence (original not copies and both parts are required if a photo type licence)
We are only obliged to provide small vehicles. If this is not satisfactory please contact / liaise with your insurers. If you are not entitled to a courtesy vehicle we can put you in contact with a local hire car company where you will benefit from preferential rates.
Is the work guaranteed?
We guarantee all of our workmanship for 12 months and are happy to discuss any concerns you may have about your repair be it private or via your insurance.
