Mazda MX-5 named best Roadster by Auto Express

Mazda has been producing the MX-5 since 1989; it is a 2 seater roadster with the engine at the front and rear wheel drive. The current model has been with us since 2006 and, like its predecessors, it has been winning awards on a continuous basis.

This year at the 2011 Auto Express New Car Awards, the Mazda MX-5 was voted “Best Roadster”; this is the sixth year running that the MX-5 has won this accolade. One of the things that make the Mazda so desirable is the fact that it costs from under £17,000 new – no wonder it has become the world’s bestselling roadster!
