Dunton Enthusiast Day 2011
Essex Auto Group were once again invited to the Dunton Enthusiast Day which Ford Technical Centre hold each year.
This year saw the best turn out so far with the Ford WRC team Fiesta RS drawing hundreds of people to the test track as a small slice of WRC came to Basildon.
The various displays of Ford Cars through the ages were also a great attraction as well as the many Dunton staff owned cars from an Austin Mini to an Aston Martin Vantage.
EAG took along three Ford vehicles (New Focus Titanium, Grand C-Max Titanium and a Mondeo Zetec), as well as a Smartbody repair van.
Also on behalf of EAG, a demonstration stand promoting a new waterless cleaning product; Greased Lightning, this was a big hit with the staff and enthusiasts of the day and created over £200 in sales.
An unexpected surprise of the day was a new car sale to be processed through our Dunton branch.
We hope to be there again next year and to be able to make the day even more prosperous.
