Timed to coincide with the release of terrific 66 Plate deals, Fiat is reintroducing two classic nameplates with their very latest innovations and designs. The manufacturer is bringing both the New Fiat Tipo and the New Fiat 124 Spider roadster back to roam the roads of Essex.
The new model, available as a hatchback and a station wagon, has already won the Autobest “Best Buy Car 2016” award this year and launches at Essex Fiat’s Kent Elms dealership on Saturday 3rd September with a DJ spinning ’60s classics, refreshments (including espressos – this is an Italian launch after all), and the chance to win a gift card to buy a delicious meal at Pizza Express!
The international panel of Autobest (an independent organisation) scored new cars on 13 different factors, including design, comfort, running costs, performance, price, service network, spare parts distribution, versatility and buy-back value. The Tipo’s functional practicality and great value for money were cited as the key to its success. The new model has a typically stylish Italian look inside and out, with plenty of comfortable space and legroom in the interior. There are numerous cabin compartments for storage in addition to a highly practical, best-in-class boot capacity of 440 litres, while the station wagon version adds an additional 110 litres of space. Loading the station wagon is easy with a low load sill and reconfigurable components, such as an adjustable floor and removable side storage panels to further increase the width of the boot. Two lights, two bag hooks, and four load-retaining hooks on the floor provide even more convenience.
